zzz dr|z3d, you have a last-up time for false.i2p? inr is reporting may 7
dr|z3d that may be wildly inaccurate, though.
dr|z3d other monitoring sites are reporting it up, but I think they're wrong, too.
dr|z3d you'd expect a leaseset not found attempting to connect, but I'm not seeing that, just unreachable.
zzz hmm
zzz did you fix your socks error issues on your outproxy? I'm going to close that ticket
dr|z3d no, reported upstream, no fix yet.
zzz I need to figure out how to motivate stormycloud
dr|z3d do you have a direct line of communication, or is it playing out over twitter and zzz.i2p?
zzz thats not the issue
dr|z3d sure, that's not the issue, the issue is that they've promised some outproxies and haven't got beyond i2pd installation and family creation.
zzz I wouldnt call it a promise, but haven't seen any progress either
dr|z3d if motivation's going to come from anywhere, it's likely in the shape of a simple "deploy proxy" script :)
dr|z3d I may be wrong, but I get the sense they might be stalled on the "how do we get this thing working and what should we use?" stage.
zzz sure but we can't make their security and administration our problem
dr|z3d If java I2P had an outproxy tunnel option with support for upstream, that might be persuasive.. they're coming from Tor where they install and it's done. just a thought.
dr|z3d that is, if they're not totally dead set on using i2pd.
dr|z3d maybe the first step is to see if you can get them on irc, then they've got some realtime support they can tap into.
