zzz last call for review comments
dr|z3d btw, zzz, recent I2P+ builds attempt to prevent a huge number of part tunnels from being hosted, both with throttling/temp banning of L/U class peers, and by a default max limit of 8000 part tunnels, or less if the router is slow. so i2pd's in a class of its own when hosting a ridiculous amount of tunnels.
dr|z3d i2pd by default also limits part tunnels, 5000 for non-floodfill routers, 10K for ffs. something like that.
zzz eyedeekay, gitssh is mostly failing this morning, lots of resets
zzz need to push the release
dr|z3d fallback strategy, zzz, is clearnet site via Tor / https.
dr|z3d [remote "upstream"]
zzz we can't do much until he's around anyway
eyedeekay I'm here, will figure it out and fix ASAP
zzz super
eyedeekay Just a few minutes hopefully
lbt git.idk.i2p shows some mpd stuff instead of git currently. I'll ask later ;)
eyedeekay my mpd server isn't even on the same box as gitlab, whole other place, I don't see how that could be possible
lbt Same, that shows ympd as well
lbt But don't worry about me, I just wanted to point it out in case it helps finding what's wrong or so ...
eyedeekay It might...
eyedeekay I just checked my mpd server and it's definitely not at that address
eyedeekay There is nothing on that address but gitlab to my knowledge
lbt This is getting interesting then :o
lbt Now git is back btw
zzz pushed
zzz checksums added to blog post and pushed, newsxml metadata pushed
zzz eyedeekay, please flip your switch and eche|on's at your convenience
zzz torrent is up
eyedeekay Will do, might be about an hour, lbt just helped me spot a misconfiguration on one of my servers
eyedeekay Thanks very much lbt, it turned out to be something silly, will write up how it happened on zzz.i2p
zzz was that the gitssh problem too?
eyedeekay Yes I think so, turns out I had the keys for the gitlab still on the same box where I hosted it during the "Trial Period" when it was hosted in my closet, I turned that box back on and the debian service started up but the services it was running were no longer the same
eyedeekay So I had inadvertently erroneously multihomed my git server with my radio station
dr|z3d well done, eyedeekay :)
lbt Glad to hear it wasn't something worse and you guys can go on now :)
dr|z3d tango bravo calling i2pgit.
dr|z3d zzz: tip of the day, in case you weren't aware (I wasn't).. tags don't get pushed to the repo with git push.
eyedeekay Yeah that one made me skip a beat, did not like the sound of that
dr|z3d you need to use: git push --tags
zzz did it make it to gitlab or not?
zzz * [new tag] i2p-2.1.0 -> i2p-2.1.0
eyedeekay I see a new tag
zzz yup, we figured out tags quite a while ago
dr|z3d oh, we did? very good, as you were.
eyedeekay My servers are fixed and my news is updated, working on the mirrors still
eyedeekay echelon are you doing your news server this time or do you want me to do it
eche|on I can do it
eche|on ok, idk was faster
zzz Blinded message
zzz eyedeekay, did you fix your clocks or did I rush home for nothing?
zzz ok then, for the 2nd month in a row, I'm out, please reschedule
eyedeekay Oh jeez sorry I was trying to resolve a checksum issue on the mirror and lost track of the time
eyedeekay Mirrors are finally updated
eyedeekay resuming partially finished downloads with wget -c seems to cause checksums to be invalid
