Re: mirrors anyone with a file server can clone github.com/eyedeekay/files into the docroot and end up with a mirror.
eyedeekay
Same for f-droid with github.com/eyedeekay/fdroid for an Android mirror.
eyedeekay
I used to be able to do the same thing for the debs and will again someday

It's an abuse of git but it's also helpful to have a history and making hosting it github's problem

TLDR he's pointing out what is ultimately an easy-to-fix shortcoming in the nginx configuration. I'm going to poke at it a bit and tell him I fixed it.
eyedeekay
