from 5 days ago. seems to be fine now
zzz
another problem
zzz
getting a lot of 'inbound packet too short' from java routers, usually 35-39 bytes, but sometimes 1 byte ???
zzz
orignal, are you seeing any of those?
zzz
found the problem.
zzz
it's 'ping' packets
zzz
wasn't ensuring minimum padding
zzz
still no ideas about 1 byte packets
dr|z3d
random routers, or the same one repeatedly?
zzz
random
zzz
also seeing 2 byte pkts
zzz
seems like its ipv4 only, so I think it's a fragmented pkt
zzz
due to mtu exceeded bug
dr|z3d
older routers then?
zzz
there's mtu bugs in 1.9.0 too
zzz
but OS should be reassembling? not sure why 1 byte pkt gets to app
dr|z3d
for older I meant not running latest dev builds, because I recall you fixed a packet length/MTU bug a while ago, after release.
zzz
right
zzz
with the 2% enable we have, I assume, hundreds of routers that aren't keeping up with dev builds
obscuratus
I'm still getting lots of 'inbound packet too short' on my testing network, and all the java i2p routers are at 1.9.0-8
zzz
fix coming in a few minutes
obscuratus
kk, thanks zzz.
zzz
are they all 35-39 bytes or are you seeing 1 or 2 bytes also?
obscuratus
When I spot check, they're usually in the 30s. I can't recall running across 1-2 byte warning messages.
zzz
ok
zzz
-10 pushed, please give it a try and report back when you have time
obscuratus
zzz: OK, I'll give it a spin...
