dr|z3d ok, new config option in the latest + build. router.throttleFactor
dr|z3d set a value as a float eg 4.0 to determine how many connections/m above the previous minute's count before the throttler kicks in.
dr|z3d so 4.0 would allow 4 times the previous minutes count before throttling.
dr|z3d default is now 3.0, and as of the latest build, the throttler won't activate until your connection count is @ 2/3 of the limit, per transport.
dr|z3d (in -14+)
not_bob Connection limits are a funny thing. You don't want to be at 100% usage all the time.
dr|z3d sure, not_bob_afk2, you don't necessarily want to hit max all the time, but neither you do want to artificially limit your router's capacity.
opal dr|z3d even vern.cc has been down, so no it has nothing to do with i2p
opal and before that went offline, vern.cc/en/i2p showed 404, so it seems like the website was taken down before it went entirely offline
RN vern has been a bit flaky or completely offline for me lately too
opal f i guess
opal might push me to set up the reddit-nntp bridge and peer it with my inn server
opal and figure out replacements for other stuff
opal i only used invidious for search, for example; anything that also does that would be fine for me, i dont exactly want to set up a full invidious deploy especially seeing how i dont trust the code quality; iirc the readme even says "auto-restart it in case it crashes"
dr|z3d teddit.i2p for reddit proxy.
dr|z3d natter.i2p for twitter proxy.
RN dr|z3d, what's the short version of new in dev version I just saw (10.25 am)
