Much better.

now's a great time to signup for a ramble.i2p account if you haven't already, not least because signups are now enabled again over i2p.
dr|z3d
more info on the changes here: ramble.i2p/f/ramble/4827/a-new-vision-and-direction-for-ramble
dr|z3d
please use @i2pmail.org not @mail.i2p if you're supplying an i2p mail address (for password recovery), though I think an address is entirely optional.
dr|z3d
with the recent reddit drama, we're looking to handle a good chunk of support queries and general discussions on ramble.i2p where reddit may have been used before, but of course that's only for users accessing the site over i2p, which may or may not incentivize people to install i2p :)
not_bob
Agreed, if they hare having issues getting online with i2p then this will not help. But, it will be good for any questions once they are on.
dr|z3d
reddit isn't going away any time soon, so that's the fallback, but once on i2p folks should be encouraged to use ramble instead, so reddit becomes mostly an "onboarding" service.
not_bob
Exactly.
not_bob
And, that should help reduce the load for idk and friends, as there are many of us who do not post on reddit.
not_bob
But, would gladly do so in network.
not_bob
More users make for a stronger network.
orignal
who is an owner or ramble?
orignal
I hope not anyone from SJW team
dr|z3d
no
orignal
you do?
dr|z3d
rambler and I ru n it.
orignal
it's fine for me
orignal
will try to signup
dr|z3d
great, if you think we need more sub-forums, let me know.
dr|z3d
for example, you might want one for i2pd, or you might just be happyt enough with the current one-size-fits-all i2p sub.
dr|z3d
when you subscribe to subs, or what ramble calls forums, you can configure your user settings to only show those subs by default on your homepage.
XANA
dr|z3d, do you think it would be good idea to reviewe MuWire?
XANA
also I have seen rambler update great job :)
XANA
If you get time reach me at xana@mail.i2p
obscuratus
MuWire needs an active developer. It's a fair bit of effort to review something like MuWire, and if there's nobody to act on anything you find, then it's just a waste of time.
dr|z3d
He left, obscuratus. And we don't know exactly what he meant by review. Review from a user's perspective, or review from a coder's perspective?
dr|z3d
But you're right. Either someone decides they want to further the project and adopts it, or it dies on the vine.
obscuratus
In the I2P universe, it seems like old projects never die. They just wander around as zombies for years. :)
dr|z3d
:)

yeah I know that's true, take Seedless for example
