obscuratus dr|z3d: Have you released anything yet including the segmented netdb changes?
dr|z3d not yet, obscuratus, I'm still trying to iron out the rendering bugs which I think are upstream.
dr|z3d can you check your client leasesets page and tell me if you see duplicated entries?
dr|z3d in other news, I've redone the reverse dns caching I was working on and it's looking good.
dr|z3d we now have a human readable file cache, deduping for entries, and after much jizzling around, persistence across sessions, which is obviously what the file cache is for but it took a while to get that aspect working correctly.
orignal this "zzz" still didn't prove himself
dr|z3d sure he did.
dr|z3d if you can't tell zzz from his writing style you need to go back to fazanka.
orignal as soon as he answer a tehcniacl question about I2P
orignal remeber I'm non-native English speaker
orignal so it's hard for me to recognize style
dr|z3d back to fazanka for you :)
obscuratus It does seem ironic that proving who you are is important on an anonymous network. Why are we even here? :)
orignal zzz.i2p or his statements about i2p internals would be enough
dr|z3d trust me, orignal, that's the real deal you're talking to.
orignal we will see
orignal I need his opinion about SSU2 problem
dr|z3d ok, for those of you running i2p+ dev builds, segmented netdbs are now shipping.
dr|z3d we also now have a fully functional file and memory cache for reverse dns lookups if you have those enabled, with the cache now in human readable format. for less than 512MB ram, your cache will grow to around 600KB max, and about twice that if your router's running with 512M or more allocated.
RN did you put lipstick on it yet?
not_bob I'll try it out later this week when I have some time.
not_bob Now iwthout _!
not_bob Now without _!
dr|z3d it defends against some categories of attack, so the sooner you get it installed the better for you.
not_bob I do not disagree.
not_bob I'm working on a project that's eatying up almost all my time, including sleep time till it's over in a day or two.
dr|z3d sounds intense. I hope the remuneration is just as intense :)
not_bob Yes, totally wroth the trouble.
