minor thing, but you now have version info for your geoip db on /info
dr|z3d
build date, specifically.
dr|z3d
how's this for app feedback:
dr|z3d
he is dont working
dr|z3d
fix the problam
not_bob_afk
dr|z3d: lol
dr|z3d
russians everywhere, not_bob_afk!
dr|z3d
that wasn't I2P+ feedback, just to make that clear. :)
eyedeekay
Is somebody firing the cannons?
dr|z3d
haha
dr|z3d
you tell us, eyedeekay..
dr|z3d
maybe you "accidentally" found some more acid at monerocon? :)
eyedeekay
That was HOPE lol, but I am going to ask the person I think cooked it whether I was right while I'm here :)
eyedeekay
I'm pretty my issue is just because the CCC network has a gazillion people messing with it right now though
dr|z3d
I'll take your word for it and pretend I know what you're talking about :)
eyedeekay
Speaking of "what I'm talking about" - github.com/eyedeekay/radicle-docs/commit/04f8fa05339c4d16442ade25a09b8aeb16a84895
eyedeekay
^ that's what I'm talking 'bout
eyedeekay
Just watched these guy's presentation at CCC, looks very cool
dr|z3d
so radicle is the new shiny? what is it?
eyedeekay
P2P git with a system for communicating patches and issues in a way which is familiar to github/gitlab/gitea/forgejo users
eyedeekay
this is their clearnet homepage: radicle.xyz
eyedeekay
It works well enough for them to be dogfooding it too, they've archived all their repositories on centralized forges
dr|z3d
looks interesting, but I don't get why it's much different to hosting your own git repo.
dr|z3d
I mean, I have all the control I need without needing a p2p solution.
eyedeekay
For me, it partly comes down to "no need for me to account for all the user signup issues"
eyedeekay
also getting rid of onerous storage requirements for repositories I don't really want to host
dr|z3d
well, good, amen to that.
dr|z3d
the only things you want to host are you own stuff and i2p project stuff. anything else can get their own repo. easy. signups for the most part for reporting issues.
dr|z3d
obviously it seemed like a good idea at the time to let all and sundry host projects on your repo, but, hey, we know how that turned out :)
dr|z3d
updated terms and conditions for hosting: "no".
dr|z3d
:)
eyedeekay
Yeah managing gitlab that's as heavily targeted as mine seems to be is deeply frustrating
dr|z3d
gitea's a breeze, you just need to remember to run ./gitea doctor check when you've pulled updates.
eyedeekay
gitea is a lot better than gitlab and I also set it up to natively support I2P through SAM
eyedeekay
Pretty sure their forks inherited the change too

question
orignal
why does a torrent become stopped?
orignal
in the middle of download

uop23ip
that's odd. had the same error lately. wasn't the drive in my case(as far i can see). 2x re-allocate, lost most data and is loading now w/o errors.
orignal
my question is
orignal
if snark is try to redownload failed segment
orignal
in my case the drive is very old
uop23ip
fs is btrfs
orignal
like from 2009
orignal
standard ext4
uop23ip
i tried to restart it at first. it downloads some and then it stops again. tried multiply times. only 2x allocate worked. first time i had this kind of error iirc.
orignal
then it needs to be fixed in snark
