the snap update nagging has pretty much gone away, it's not so bad now

what annoys me is that mozilla insisted on ubuntu using snaps, while at the same time their developers are looking for ways of shaving milliseconds off the load time.

in any event, librewolf is worth installing, it's pretty much synced with firefox, version-wise, and it comes with some default hardening and no pocket.
