hi dfr22
T3s|4
o/ dr|z3d - anything snazzy in 5+ ?
dr|z3d
not especially, T3s|4. see git.idk.i2p/i2p-hackers/i2p.i2p/-/commit/49299f3f28c5e820b1fad5baa8fb5942ea67f6ba .. doubt that counts as snazzy, but it's something. :)
T3s|4
thanks for the links dr|z3d :D
parrot
hey hey hey!!!
T3s|4_
dr|z3d: an important, if subtle difference explained:
T3s|4_
Did You Know?
T3s|4_
When it comes to bigness, there’s grand and then there’s grandiose. Both words can be used to describe something impressive in size, scope, or effect, but while grand may lend its noun a bit of dignity (i.e., “we had a grand time”), grandiose often implies a whiff of pretension. The difference between a grand plan for the city park and a grandiose one, for example, might be the
T3s|4_
difference between a tasteful fountain and a garden full of topiaries cut in the shapes of 19th century literary figures. So if you’re choosing between the two, a helpful mnemonic might be that the extra letters in grandiose suggest that one’s ideas, claims, promises, schemes, dreams—you get the idea—are a bit extra.

hey hey hey!!!
NarratorZ
hi
parrot
how are you?
NarratorZ
not so good, the I2P+ incomplete interface looks terrible, although it does not affect reading
NarratorZ
I2P is work with transifex, is there a similar solution for I2P+?
NarratorZ
If anyone knows how to contribute to an I2P+ translation please send me an email at TpNYxtt11ox5TgZ@mail.i2p
NarratorZ
Bye!
dr|z3d
NarratorZ: hi!
dr|z3d
you want to help translate the I2P+ console? great. easy enough, it's a poedit + po file job.
dr|z3d
what language is that bad that you're volunteering? :)
NarratorZ
Chinese,I2P is an excellent tool to bypass the Great Wall
dr|z3d
T3s|4: thanks for the distinction, and yes, I was aware of the difference between grand and grandiose :) any reason you wanted to draw the distinction?
dr|z3d
NarratorZ: oh, fantastic. we had a chinese translator a couple of years ago, but I guess the translation's got a bit stale since then. are you familiar with poedit?
NarratorZ
Ah, not very familiar
dr|z3d
windows or linux?
NarratorZ
But I can learn it
dr|z3d
poedit is pretty easy, arguably easier than transifex.
NarratorZ
windows
NarratorZ
is this?Poedit.net
dr|z3d
that's it.
dr|z3d
the process is the same for the console and webapps.. you locate the .po file in the source tree, load it into poedit, make your mods, save, then send me the updated po file.
dr|z3d
let me find you the .po file for the console.. one moment please..
NarratorZ
thanks!
dr|z3d
generally, in the source, po files for the webapps are stored at apps/{appname}/locale/
dr|z3d
so for the console, the po file is here -> gitlab.com/i2pplus/I2P.Plus/-/blob/master/apps/routerconsole/locale/messages_zh.po
NarratorZ
dr|z3d / I2Pplus · GitLab,in there right?
dr|z3d
gitlab, correct, or you can use git.i2p
NarratorZ
Thanks, I will finish as soon as possible
albat
cool NarratorZ thanks for your help
dr|z3d
thanks very much
dr|z3d
albat: what's your excuse? where's my complete french translation? :)
albat
:/ lol
dr|z3d
do you run the console in french, albat?
albat
yes
albat
but i don't think if i read french or english
albat
didn't notice what is missing
dr|z3d
NarratorZ: once I have an updated .po file, it should take no more than a few minutes to build an update with the changes. just so you know. that is, if I'm around.
dr|z3d
albat: time to pay attention :)
