dr|z3d, do you happen to know if StormyCloud is using the same Tor exit IPs for i2p outproxy?
RN
storymycloud does not use Tor
RN
traffic goes out direct from their machines
Irc2PGuest93188
That's not what I asked, RN. I'm aware it doesn't go through Tor, however, they do offer Tor exits, or outproxies, too. I would hope they don't reuse the same IPs for both i2p and tor outproxies.
RN
" and tor outproxies." ◀━━ they don't use Tor outproxies
Irc2PGuest93188
Again, not what I'm saying. I know that the i2p outproxy isn't routed over Tor. They have their own /24 block of IPs, IIRC, and they offer Tor and I2P outproxies.
RN
that is a quote of what you literally just said
Irc2PGuest93188
You don't understand what I'm saying, though.
RN
you keep saying "tor outproxies" and then say that is not what you are talking about
Irc2PGuest93188
But it seems like they split the block between i2p and tor, so they probably don't reuse the IPs.
Irc2PGuest93188
Tor outproxy has nothing to do with i2p.
eyedeekay
RN I think what guest is asking is if Stormycloud's Tor exits share any IP addrsses with the I2P outproxy since they run both
RN
so why do you keep mentioning it
eyedeekay
They have a bunch of listed Tor exits in addition to their I2P proxy services
mesh
I suspect that they do (not tht it really matters)
mesh
services that block tor exit nodes (eg reddit) will hit stormycloud i2p's outproxies
Irc2PGuest93188
It does matter, techinically. If, e.g. CF blocked only the Tor exists, they would also block all I2P outproxies.
eyedeekay
I suppose a little ambiguity over who got the client to the exit might be beneficial, otoh, cloudflare
Xeha
cloudflare is evil
Opicaak
Indeed, it is.

mmmmm, honey... nom nom nom
