zzz: if we're no longer congested, do we remove our congestion cap? not seeing removal.
dr|z3d
how's your router performing these days, mesh? better?
bak83
Trying to rule things out on my i2pd router. I have tested two seperate SAM applications. I restart the applications (waiting for session timeout and not, even waiting a full day) and try to establish the SAM bridge again. They always fail to connect after either of them is stopped. In wireshark I can see the "HELLO VERSION MIN=3.1 MAX=3.1" but I never get a "HELLO REPLY RESULT=OK
bak83
VERSION=3.1". i2pd sends an ack packet after the hello and will respond to keep_alive and fin. Also, i2pd never logs the handshake like on initial connection. I have to restart the router for it to start accepting SAM connections again. Any ideas on things to try?
dr|z3d
bak83: you could try service i2pd reload instead.
dr|z3d
if you haven't tried i2pchat, that comes with its own debugging console, might be handy. is SAM.
bak83
Thank you, a debugging console will surely be handy :)
dr|z3d
example output:
dr|z3d
XX:XX:XX • [Stream ID: 20] Incoming ‣ HELLO REPLY RESULT=OK VERSION=3.1
dr|z3d
XX:XX:XX • [Stream ID: 20] Outgoing ‣ HELLO VERSION MIN=3.1 MAX=3.1
dr|z3d
XX:XX:XX • [Stream ID: 20] Controller ‣ Connected to SAM v3
zzz
dr|z3d, eventually, yes
orignal
try using nc
dr|z3d
ok, zzz, thanks. presumably whenever the RI is republished?
zzz
yup
orignal
did I miss somthing?
dr|z3d
yeah, there's a bit under your chin, orignal
orignal
seems you were talking about somthing that I don't see
orignal
I'm serious
dr|z3d
serious concrete is serious.
orignal
myabe I lose a lot of conversation
orignal
because I don't see disconnects
dr|z3d
was talking with zzz about java.
orignal
yes but the last thing I have is
orignal
<dr|z3d> zzz: if we're no longer congested, do we remove our congestion cap? not seeing removal.
dr|z3d
so, no, you didn't miss anything.
orignal
then zzz replied I guess
dr|z3d
good guess.
orignal
because
orignal
<dr|z3d> ok, zzz, thanks. presumably whenever the RI is republished?
orignal
oops sorry I missed that one
orignal
<zzz> dr|z3d, eventually, yes

hk

hk
what frontend is that by the way?
hk
Gives me nostalgia, I love gradient
dr|z3d
that's +
hk
Im tired of flat design, im not a web guy; so any web stuff I do is with static generators like hugo. but flat stuff is just exhausting
hk
anything late 2000s-early 2010s esque is awesome
hk
so much more soul in it
hk
i digress
dr|z3d
flat design has it's purpose, but I agree, it's often a bit lacking.
dr|z3d
sounds like you should spin up and I2P+ instance :)
dr|z3d
the changelog is a pre text block which is processed with js to add some bullets and separate into separate blocks.
hk
dr|z3d: haha I definitely need to try out i2p+, will do once I get home
dr|z3d
great, hk. you'll want to enable unsigned updates and probably use the /dev/ path which will give you all the recent updates.
hk
nice nice gotcha
